TRAIL of Johnson County has an immediate opening for a part-time Member and Volunteer Services Director to serve as the organization’s helpful concierge and more. Reporting to Executive Director Hillary Ramaker, this position will onboard new TRAIL members, coordinate provision of volunteer services, respond to inquiries, and maintain accurate records in the TRAIL database.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, with at least three years’ customer service experience, a high level of computer proficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Integrity and confidentiality are a must. Experience in a nonprofit environment, education in social services or health care, and a passion for working with older adults are highly desirable.

This is a half-time position (20 hours/week), working in our downtown office at the Iowa City-Johnson County Senior Center, with a starting wage of $15/hour and limited benefits.
