Your Gifts Build Community
We love our members. They’re helping TRAIL build a caring community of and for older adults in Johnson County. But membership fees are just one source of TRAIL’s revenue stream.
As is true for many other aging-in-place organizations across the country, TRAIL is a nonprofit that relies on philanthropic support to help sustain our operations and serve our members’ needs and interests. We are an IRC Sec. 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and all gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Contributions from members, friends and business partners are directed toward yearly expenses that keep TRAIL strong, from staffing to member services. Private gifts also help underwrite our Supported Membership Program for income-eligible households throughout Johnson County.

You may also send your check, payable to TRAIL of Johnson County, to the address listed at the bottom of this page. All annual contributors of $50 or more are recognized in our online honor roll, and all donors receive our monthly “TRAIL Guide” newsletter to keep you up to date on our activities.
