TRAIL Celebrates Its
7th Anniversary

TRAIL of Johnson County is marking its seventh anniversary in 2024. 

TRAIL membership continues to grow, and its volunteers are helping older adults in Johnson County live more fully, safely, and comfortably in the places they call home. Currently, TRAIL serves members in Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, Solon, and Tiffin.

Here are more fun facts about TRAIL this year:

• 104--Number of Full members (including 30 Supported members)
• 154--Number of Affiliate members
• 109--Number of active volunteers (member services, Board, committees)
• 242--Average number of volunteer services provided per month
• 42%--Portion of TRAIL budget covered by membership fees
• 58%--Portion of TRAIL budget covered by donations, grants, other
• 220--Number of individual and organizational donors (2023-24)
• Most popular volunteer services--transportation, phone buddy calls, and household errands
