Don't miss TRAIL's healthy aging series!

Explore how improved health habits and recent medical breakthroughs can increase your chances of living longer by attending TRAIL of Johnson County’s seminar series, “Closing the Gap: Healthspan vs. Lifespan.” Each presentation takes place on Thursday afternoon in October from 1-2:30 PM at the North Liberty Community Center (lower level), 520 Cherry St. 

The series is free and open to the public, but registration is required at https://tinyurl.com/2p9z7238 or by calling the TRAIL office at 319-800-9003. (If you registered for the Oct. 2 opener, you were automatically signed up for all five sessions.)

  • October 30: “From Setback to Comeback: Optimizing Recovery” by Jessica Hirth, PTA, and Stacey Hodges, OTR/L, of the University of Iowa Health Network Rehabilitation Hospital, and “Safety and Independence: Tools to Aid Daily Living” by Chris Nichols, CarePro Home Medical
